idle minds put on an awesome show … with jokes!

Sunday night was awesome. I had the pleasure of enjoying some of the funniest, most crude, most well-written, most hilariously-performed, most enthusiastic sketch comedy around.

Idle Minds is a group of twisted individuals born out of the Vancouver Film School writing department. And they put on an awesome show – with jokes! on Sunday night at the Media Club.
And it was PACKED! standing room only! which is always a good sign.

This was the third time I’d seen the Idle crew and methinks it was my favourite one to date. It could be because I’ve been able to get to know some of the writers and performers; it could be because the energy in the room was so terrific; it could be that they work onstage together so well; it could be that I take Parking Enforcement very seriously; it could be Tapper’s Australian accent and rippling pectoral muscles. It could be that it was just a really fun show.

Either way, it was great.

Every couple of months they perform a new, original show and I highly suggest you check it out if you are in Vancouver. Chances are I’ll let you know of an upcoming show right here at the Suite so stay tuned. I’m thinking June-ish?
